Scotland's airports face busiest weekend of the year
Scotland's airports are gearing up for their busiest weekend of the year. As the school holidays get under way, around 370,000 people are expected to pass through Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airport's over the weekend.
BAA Scotland said that it expects more than 40,000 at Glasgow Airport today alone. Edinburgh is expected to attract 32,900 and Aberdeen 11,900.
Traditional summer sun destinations including Tenerife, Malaga, Alicante and Palma top the list of favourite destinations. Toronto and Florida are popular for long-haul breaks.
