Three new routes for next summer
27.05.10
Glasgow Airport is to gain two new long-haul routes and one short haul route for its summer schedule next year from holiday airline Thomson. The new long haul flights, which take off in May 2011, will serve Cape Verde off the African coast, and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. In addition, the Croatian resort of Pula will also be served next summer.
Amanda McMillan, managing director of Glasgow Airport, said: ‘The charter market remains strong for us, as holidaymakers are returning to the traditional package holiday because of the value for money they offer and the fantastic choice of destinations they cover.’
