Flybe add more new routes
New low cost flights from Glasgow to Manchester will take off six times a day, after budget airline Flybe unveiled plans to run the flights from next spring priced just £25 one way, including tax. The news comes less than a week after the airline announce an up to ten flights a service between Glasgow and Birmingham airport.
The new Manchester to Glasgow flights - aimed at the business market - will be launched on March 25. Flybe will also operate flights from Glasgow to Belfast, Exeter and Norwich from March with tickets priced at around £20 one way. And a once-weekly flight from Glasgow to Jersey will be launched on April 21 with tickets from £45 one-way.
