Airport expects a busy weekend

An estimated 270,000 passengers will pass through Scotland's three biggest airports this weekend, after the schools closed for summer. However, passenger numbers are down on previous years, as families cut cost during the recession.
BAA said Malaga, Orlando and Dubai are some of the most popular destinations for travellers from its three Scottish airports. A spokesman said: ‘We are looking forward to the start of a busy summer. Our airports are also gearing up for an influx of visitors as the country plays host to a series of events, including the Scottish Open at Loch Lomond and T in the Park.'
