Loganair axe Derry route
25.09.08
Loganair has announced that it will axe its Glasgow Airport to Derry flights - after operating the route for 29 years. The airline blamed rising fuel costs and the ‘economic climate’ for the decision, which will take effect from October 20.
Loganair CEO David Harrison said: ‘This is very disappointing for all concerned, but is the result of circumstances outside our control. We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience.’
