Flyglobespan announce Glasgow Airport - Fuerteventura flights
Scottish budget airline Flyglobespan is to launch new weekly flights between Glasgow and the Spanish holiday island of Fuerteventura this winter. The flights - from £59.99 one way including taxes - go on sale today.
The airline already offers direct flights from Glasgow to Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote. Now Fuerteventura is the airline's latest destination in the Canary Islands.
Flights will begin in early November along with new winter flights to Majorca and the Algarve in Portugal. The airline will also continue to operate twice-weekly flights from Glasgow to the Czech capital of Prague this winter.
Flyglobespan's founder and chairman, Tom Dalrymple, said: 'I'm very pleased we are able to launch winter flights from Glasgow Airport to Fuerteventura. Like all the Canary Islands it offers all-year round sunshine and Fuerteventura is even more picturesque as it has beautiful golden beaches.'
