US Airways Philadelphia flights boost

US Airways is to extend its summer schedule from Glasgow Airport, increasing flights to Philadelphia from 280 flights to 334, the Evening Times reports. It will add five weeks to the summer only service.
US Airways has operated a service between the two cities for the last seven years. The increase in flights has been hailed as a vote of confidence in Glasgow as a holiday destination. The extra flights also mean passengers from Scotland will be able to make more use of US flight connections from Philadelphia, which offers onward flights to Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Florida and San Francisco.
