Glasgow airport to get customer magazine
The Big Spark, a Manchester-based publishing house, is to produce a new customer magazine for passengers at Glasgow Airport. The quarterly 'Gateway' magazine will be available from November and distributed around the airport to passengers.
Gateway will also be available to other domestic and international airports served by flights from Glasgow, which has become Scotland's busiest hub in recent years, with 8.7 million passengers a year.
The magazine will include content from airlines that use the airport, alongside features on retail, fashion, motoring, food and drink. There will also be a dedicated business focus and reports on property.
Stuart Parker, managing director of The Big Spark, said: 'We will be producing a lively, informative Lifestyle magazine that will be read and enjoyed by business and holiday travellers alike. This is an exciting project and our association with Glasgow International Airport is very important to us.'
Paul White, commercial manager at Glasgow Airport, said: 'We're confident Gateway will be essential reading for the millions of people across Scotland who use Glasgow Airport every year, and for the increasing number of international visitors who use Glasgow as their gateway into Scotland.'
