Fashion mall for Glasgow Airport

McArthurGlen Luxury Retail has announced that Glasgow Airport will be the fourth European location for its Collezioni travel retail fashion concept. Aimed at 're-invigorating the presentation of prestige fashion brands in airports', it will unveil 11 new stores for ‘young, directional fashion brands' concentrated in a stylish, curved avenue of stores bordering the new-look departure lounge this autumn, part of a multi-million pound revamp of the airport terminal.
Brian Collie, (previously BAA Retail Director), now Chairman of McArthurGlen, said: ‘Although its first opening, at Venice Airport, was only a year ago, Collezioni has already proven its adaptability to meet the needs of different locations and passenger profiles by providing a unique blend of international brands and regional favourites.'
‘The new Skyhub extension at Glasgow Airport is a superb contemporary setting for Collezioni. The combination of the two demonstrates that medium-sized airports can provide a unique fashion brand experience.'
