Loganair to operate Sunday flights to Barra and Tiree

Loganair is to operate the first regular Sunday flights to Barra and Tiree from Glasgow Airport this summer, the Press & Journal reports. The airline, which operates scheduled services under a franchise agreement with Flybe, will run the new flights between July 3 and August 28.
The new Sunday services are in addition to the Monday to Saturday flights on the Glasgow - Tiree and Glasgow - Barra routes. Both new services are timed to provide excellent connections via Glasgow to UK regional and London-bound services operated by Flybe and codeshare partner BA. Loganair is undertaking the new services at its own commercial risk and will receive no additional subsidy.
