Airport braced for busiest weekend

Around 110,000 passengers will fly out of Glasgow Airport over this weekend. As the Glasgow Fair gets under way, it will be the airport's busiest weekend of the year.
Francois Bourienne, commercial director of the airport, said: ‘The Glasgow Fair is traditionally one of our busiest times, and this year looks to be no different. Despite concerns over the recession, holidaymakers seem determined to enjoy a well deserved break in the sun.’
