BAA to cut jobs at Glasgow support centre

Jobs at BAA offices in Glasgow are to be cut. The airport operator blamed the sale of Gatwick at the end of last year for the need to reduce staff at its support centre in Hillington. Currently 250 people work at the centre.
A BAA spokesman said: ‘We have started consultation with staff about reducing the number of posts at the BAA Business Support Centre in Glasgow. Having sold Gatwick late last year, we require a smaller corporate support centre.’
