13.12.11
A bus driver was found to be twice over the legal drink-drive limit at nine in the morning as he drove passengers from Glasgow Airport into the city, the Evening Times reports. Police caught the 41-year-old near the airport during a festive drink and drugs driving crackdown.
The driver was reported to police by a passenger on his coach who suspected that he was over the limit. He was arrested at around 09:00 last Monday. Chief Superintendent Kate Thomson, ACPOS lead on drink driving, urged people to contact police if they suspect that someone is driving under the influence.
