Passenger 'had 5 knives' on passenger jet
Tourist Caroline Brophy has sparked a security investigation at Glasgow Airport - after carrying five knives on a holiday jet, according to a report in the Daily Record newspaper. She walked through Customs and security at the airport with a Stanley knife and four craft knives in her hand hand luggage.
Caroline uses the knives for her work as a machine operator and forgot she had left them in her holdall when she passed through the airport. She only realised they had been in her luggage on her trip to Cyprus when she unpacked on her return and found them in a side pocket.
A spokesman for Glasgow Airport told the newspaper that an investigation into the incident is under way.
