Glasgow gets one off flights to Jamaica and Las Vegas

Glasgow Airport will host the first direct flight from Scotland to Jamaica's Montego Bay next year. The historic flight on March 8 next year is a one-off by holiday firm Thomas Cook, and is one of several one-off flights planned by the holiday company, including flights to Las Vegas on November 3.
The holiday companny will also operate flights to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic on January 26 and to the republic’s Puerto Plata on March 16. Trips to the Mexican resort of Cancun are planned for January 2 and March 20. All trips are for a fortnight except Las Vegas, which is for a week.
The one-off flights boost Thomas Cook’s winter programme from Glasgow Airport, which also includes regular flights to the Balearics, Canary Islands, Cuba, Cyprus, Egypt, Lapland, Madeira, Malta, Spain, Tunisia and Turkey.
