Forecourt closed tomorrow
The forecourt at Glasgow Airport will be closed to all vehicles from tomorrow (Sunday) until Monday morning to allow for urgent and essential maintenance. This will result in the relocation of public transport buses, NCP shuttle buses and taxis away from the terminal.
The closure will take effect from 15:00 tomorrow afternoon and last until 06.00 on Monday. Alternative arrangements will be put in place, as detailed belo, and will be clearly sign posted.
Anyone travelling to or from the airport by bus or licensed taxi will be affected. Private motorists and private taxis picking up or dropping off at the airport are not affected, as access to the short stay car park 2 will be maintained throughout the closure.
During the temporary forecourt closure, all public transport buses and NCP shuttle buses will be relocated to Caledonia Way West, from where they will pick up and drop off. Licensed airport and pre-booked taxis operated by Glasgow Taxis, will relocate to Bute Road, from where they will pick up passengers. They will continue to drop-off at St Andrew's Drive.
Both areas are a short walk from the terminal. Covered walkways will provide shelter from the rain and both locations will be sign posted from the terminal.
