Loganair flight emergency
02.05.10
Emergency services were called to Glasgow Airport when a Loganair plane made an emergency landing yesterday. Strathclyde's fire service said it received a call from the airport calling a ‘full emergency accident’ at 16:20 yesterday. The captain of the plane, which was flying in from Stornoway, reported technical difficulties.
The plane, carrying eight passengers and three crew, landed safely and no-one was hurt. It was escorted to the terminal by rescue vehicles and engineers were working to establish the cause of the problem.
