Dutch company interested in Glasgow Airport

Holland's Schiphol Airport Group, owners of the country's main airport, have a ‘definite interest’ in buying Glasgow Airport if the Competition Commission forces it’s sale, the Herald newspaper reports.
Last month the competition watchdog said BAA’s ownership of airports in the central belt of Scotland was bad for customers, airlines and passengers. It recommended that BAA be forced to sell either Edinburgh or Glasgow, with most analysts suggesting Glasgow is the most likely.
A final ruling on the potential sell-off is due before the end of next March. If it forces a sale, BAA could then appeal, which could delay this by a year or more. The newspaper says that Schiphol - a state owned group - would also look at Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports if they were sold.
